Latin Touch Catering does Caja China style Roasting Right

It began at about 3:00 pm on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon as Latin Touch’s owner Mat Masters secured a 55 lb. dressed pig to the racks inside his La Caja Asadora Caja China style grill and sealed the box with the top pan. Just four hours later, after adding mojo criollo and kosher salt to season the skin, the whole pig roast was ready to be served. The roast pork was served with delicious sides of black bean risotto and yucca, as well as fresh Cuban bread (or “pan cubano”).

More than 50 of the newlyweds closest friends and enjoyed a wonderful evening of dancing and laughter, and Latin Touch catering was proud to be part of such a wonderful event and wonderful evening. When asked about the party, Masters said, “We are very blessed to work in the business we are in. To be able to help make evenings like this possible, this is what it’s all about. These are such wonderful people, we are very grateful to be able to play a part in making this reception a huge success. This is our community, and these are our neighbors. It’s great to be here with them tonight.”

Father of the bride, Jose Gomez added, “They catered a good friends party recently and the reviews were top notch, so I know the moment we decided on having caja china plans for the food that they were the ones to call. Definitely a top of the line caja china pig roast. The skin came out crispy and perfect. Everything they made was delicious. I would recommend them without question to anyone. No need to go buy a caja china or caja asadora for one night when you can have Latin Touch come cater your party.”
